Beavers

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members.

We have 2 colonies, Ashfield and Winterfield which operate alternate weeking meetings.

They usually meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities, sleepovers and camps.

Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, outdoor activities, playing games, arts and crafts. There is a selection of badges that children can work towards to celebrate personal achievement including the Chief Scout Bronze Award. But it is mainly about having fun!

As a Beaver, your child will have the opportunity to spend nights away at camps and sleepovers. This gives a real sense of adventure and maybe the first time away from home.

Meeting Times

Thursdays – 6.30pm to 7.30pm

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
